Advisory Board

Ultrasis has appointed an Advisory Board of prominent figures in health care. The Advisory Board will ensure that Ultrasis remains at the forefront of technology solutions based on proven CBT principles. It will also help Ultrasis in its task of meeting society's increasing mental health needs and will advise on ethical matters associated with the provision of mental health therapy, regulatory compliance and the changing environment of public and private sector provision.

The members of the Advisory Board are:-

Sir Christopher Kelly KCB, a former Permanent Secretary of the Department of Health, Chairman of the NSPCC and the Financial Ombudsman Service and Chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life.

Professor Sir David Goldberg, Professor Emeritus - formerly Professor - of Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, a long-time advisor to the Department of Health Professor Goldberg previously chaired the NICE guidelines for depression, published in 2004 and currently chairs the NICE guidelines for depression in physical illness.

Nigel Hawkes CBE, Nigel is an award winning science and health writer with a media career of over 40 years on publications including Nature magazine, The Observer and The Times, where he joined as science Editor in 1990, and then served as Health Editor from 2000 to 2008. Nigel was recognised for his work in 1991 by the British Nutrition Foundation and was named Health Journalist of the Year in 2007. He was awarded a CBE in 1998 for services to the newspaper industry and science.
